When I started my consulting business 6 years ago, I felt the immense responsibility of being a strategy consultant. I started small, delivering trainings and 1:1 coaching. From there, I built up to facilitating retreats and finally took the leap to lead comprehensive strategy projects. For years I had led strategic planning, while working with other companies, but somehow under my own company I had trepidation with taking on something so important. I did want to fail myself or my clients. My clients, all of you out there though, believed in me. You welcomed me in as your strategic planning consultant, and I pulled out all of my 20+ years of my experience to give you the best and most impactful consulting possible.

As I take moment to reflect, I realize I have worked with over 100 organizations through Leadership Savvy over the past 5 years, on over 160 projects. That’s 100 missions, 100 boards & staff, 100 communities that have been impacted by our work together. Your partnership, positive feedback, and seeing how our work benefits those we work with is live-giving, and I’m so grateful for you.

Together we’ve developed processes that allow for diverse internal and external stakeholders to contribute, for board and staff to find alignment for long term vision and strategy. Leadership Savvy works with organizations of all types and sizes, across missions and issues of a kinds, with people of all sorts of backgrounds and working styles.

I’m confident our approach help teams work collaboratively to pave clearer paths forward. I say clearer, as in today’s environment, a lot it unknown, and strategy includes a considerable amount of intentional scenario and contingency planning.

I’m still highly committed to developing and equipping leaders in our field. Yes, you’ll see me providing trainings across the country, but perhaps more importantly, I see each project as a learning opportunity for all involved.

Let’s continue to learn, grow, make a difference, and celebrate together.
