My emotional intelligence has been called into perspective lately. I’m teaching a class focusing on it, then my daughter’s school principal presented on growth vs. fixed mindset, and it had me thinking. What were some of my early experiences that helped me have a growth mindset? I can feel my nature has plenty of fixed mindset, but I’ve worked hard over the years to have a stronger EQ. That said, when I really dig deep, I believe some early lessons helped shape me to be mindful of my emotional state and to have a growth mindset.
